Reports about the upcoming Madhubala biopic are once again creating buzz online. The film is one of the most anticipated projects, and fans are curious about who will play the legendary actor. For a long time, Kiara Advani’s name was linked to the project. However, those reports were later denied. Now, a new update suggests that Sai Pallavi in Madhubala was also considered during the casting stage.

According to Filmfare, Sai Pallavi was one of the choices for the role of Madhubala. Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly wanted a fresh face for the character.

Sai Pallavi was considered suitable for the role because the actor has had very limited appearances in Bollywood so far. This made the casting idea interesting for the team working on the film.

However, the discussions did not move forward. The report suggests that scheduling issues may have played a role in the decision. Sai Pallavi already had several projects lined up at the time, including Ramayana.

Recently, the name of Saiyaara actor Aneet Padda also appeared in discussions about the biopic. However, Filmfare reports suggest that the team denied this casting rumour.

Sai Pallavi will soon make a Hindi film debut with Ek Din alongside Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 1 and marks an important step in Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood journey.

Sai Pallavi is also part of Ramayana Part 1 and Part 2, along with Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Yash. Sai Pallavi will play Sita, while Ranbir Kapoor will appear as Lord Rama. Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman, and Yash will be seen as Ravana.

The Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana Part 1 is expected to release during Diwali 2026. The second part is planned for 2027. The shooting for Ramayana Part 2 is currently underway, and the film continues to generate strong excitement among audiences.
