New Delhi: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) increased the annual toll pass fee from April 1, 2026. Earlier, the drivers had to pay Rs 3,000 to enjoy the service of an annual toll pass, but from April 1, the vehicle owners have to pay Rs 3,075.
The new charges will be applicable for the current financial year 2026-27. According to the NHAI statement, the new pass will be applicable for one year or 200 toll crossings all over India, whichever is completed first. This means if any vehicle owner crosses toll 200 times, the annual pass will expire, even if the full year has not yet passed.
NHAI has directed all toll plazas and concerned authorities to implement the new rates from April 1, 2026, and inform commuters and other stakeholders about the same.
“Approval of Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for revision of fee for ‘Annual Pass’ to Rs. 3,075/- w.e.f. 01.04.2026 for the financial year 2026-27. In view of above, it is requested to take necessary action for modification of ‘Annual Pass’ Rates from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 3075/-, wherever applicable and inform to road users & all other Stakes Holders,” NHAI statement read.
