Foreign Tourists Holi Celebration: This time the festival of Holi became special in the famous religious city of Puri of Odisha, when some foreign tourists from Netherlands celebrated this festival of colors along with the local people. Holi colors were spread on the streets around Jagannath Temple and there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm and happiness everywhere.
Meanwhile, the local people also wished the foreign guests a happy Holi by applying gulal. In the video surfaced on social media, it can be seen that Dutch tourists were also seen taking part in this celebration with full enthusiasm. Drenched in colors, they were seen smiling and taking selfies with the local people.
Talking to news agency ANI, a tourist said that he feels very lucky to be here. He said, “I feel very good to see so many happy people here. This is an experience of my life which I will never forget.”
Another tourist also expressed his happiness and said that he is feeling very emotional after seeing the atmosphere and happiness of the people here. He said that this experience of Holi in India will always remain in his memories.
Actually, the festival of Holi is celebrated in India as a symbol of the arrival of spring and happiness. On this day people apply colors and gulal to each other, hug each other and distribute sweets. This festival becomes even more special in religious cities like Puri, because a large number of devotees and tourists reach here.
