Ryan Reynolds jokingly ordered Wrexham fans' favourite Ollie Palmer to leave the STōK Cae Ras during their 2-0 win over Swansea City after admitting he had not watched Deadpool and Wolverine.
Palmer, 34, joined Reynolds and Rob Mac on Sky Sports for their alternative commentary on the side's Championship fixture against Swansea City on Friday evening. The striker moved to Swindon Town, who face Milton Keynes Dons tomorrow (Saturday), late last summer following his departure from Wrexham by mutual agreement.
Their ex-striker, Steven Fletcher, also appeared on the broadcast. The club parted ways with the player at the conclusion of last season, after which he hung up his boots.

Fletcher spent two campaigns with Wrexham, whilst Palmer was there for three-and-a-half years and became a fans' favourite. Reynolds even cast him in a cameo appearance in the 2024 blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine, which he also co-wrote and produced, starring himself.
The actor behind Deadpool warmly remembered the part his former striker played. Reynolds said: "Ollie Palmer stole the show there in Deadpool and Wolverine." Palmer, however, replied: "I've got a confession to make, I've not seen it [Deadpool and Wolverine] yet."
The film's leading man then responded: "You know what, you can just put the microphone down, and you can head out of the exit, in fact, walk through the away section and leave." Palmer replied by telling Reynolds: "I am going to watch it, I will watch it, I promise."
Wrexham proceeded to emerge victorious from the fixture 2-0, with expensive summer acquisitions Callum Doyle and Nathan Broadhead finding the target for the home side. That victory extends their advantage to six points over Derby County and Southampton in sixth position, the Championship's final play-off place.
The Saints, however, possess a match in hand, which they will contest away against table-toppers Coventry City on Saturday. Reynolds, though, is refusing to get swept up in speculation about Premier League promotion.
He said: "You have to check yourself, too. We're in the Championship; the mere fact that we're here is worth taking stock of.

"Do we want to win it all? Of course, we do, we're all competitors, but we have to take stock and see that this is part of the reward."
Reynolds also discussed the broader perspective. He said: "For me, my favourite thing about this experience is: I don't care what your ideologies are and where you are and your identity, there's such a feeling of togetherness.
"In every arena, a community gets to come together for something we share in common. I love looking around here, being in the fresh air, being outside in the wonderful country of Wales, and being on the pitch; I don't ever take that for granted."
