Thanks to tech borrowed from oil rigs and offshore wind farms, it can be built about 10 times faster than older methods.

Cooling and energy needs

Instead of blasting air conditioners, AO60DC cools its servers by sending heat straight into the sea through its hull—keeping things efficient with a super-low power usage rating (PUE below 1.08).
Most of its energy comes from wind turbines and batteries, only leaning on the grid during peak times.

Prototype in Norway, targeting UK for 1st commercial project

A prototype is being put together in Norway right now for launch in 2026.
