This may cause some inconvenience to passengers. Currently, a major railway project is underway in the Bilaspur Division of the South East Central Railway. A fourth railway line is being laid on the Howrah-Mumbai main line, specifically within the section between Bilaspur and Jharsuguda. For this reason, several trains on this route have been cancelled or diverted during the months of March and April. Several Trains in This State Cancelled

The operations of several trains passing through Chhattisgarh have been impacted recently. This is because large-scale infrastructure-related work is currently being carried out in the Bilaspur Division of the South East Central Railway. A fourth railway line is being laid on the Howrah-Mumbai main rail line, covering the section between Bilaspur and Jharsuguda. This is a massive project; consequently, train movements have had to be regulated for a certain period.

According to railway officials, the routes of several trains have been altered for this very reason, while some trains have had to be temporarily cancelled. Shiv Prasad, Public Relations Officer for the Raipur Railway Division, stated that prior information regarding these changes has already been released for the convenience of passengers, ensuring that people check their train’s status before traveling.
