New Delhi:Famous film director of Indian cinema, Priyadarshan is known for his brilliant comedy films. He has given many memorable films to Hindi cinema whose popularity continues even today. The specialty of his films has been clean comedy, strong story and excellent timing of the actors. This is the reason why many of the films made by him make the audience laugh as much even after years as they did at the time of release.

These days Priyadarshan is once again in the news because he is soon coming with a new film Bhoot Bangla with actor Akshay Kumar. This film is going to be released in theaters on April 10. Before the release of the film, Priyadarshan recalled his career and past experiences in an interview. During this conversation, he also shared an interesting anecdote to working with actor Govinda which caught people’s attention.

Priyadarshan told that once after receiving the Padma Shri award, he was asked in an interview whether this was the biggest achievement of his career. Answering this question, he jokingly said that this is not his biggest achievement. He said that his real achievement is that he called Govinda and actor Salman Khan to the film set at five in the morning and finished the entire film on time.

In fact, it has been discussed in the film industry for a long time that some actors often reach the sets late. Due to this the shooting schedule gets affected. Priyadarshan told that he had heard many such things about Govinda also. Therefore, when he decided to sign Govinda for his film, he had set a clear condition in the beginning itself.

Priyadarshan told that he clearly told Govinda that he had heard many things about him. So if he cannot come to the set on time then it would be better not to do this film. According to the director, he had said this very clearly so that there would be no problem later. However, Govinda took his condition very seriously.

Priyadarshan said that to his surprise, Govinda reached the set on time every day. He told that the experience of working with Govinda was wonderful and he enjoyed working with him on the sets. The director also said that Govinda’s comic timing and acting style is really amazing and that is why the audience likes him so much.

However, Priyadarshan also shared another interesting thing. He told that Govinda would often change his dialogues or add some new dialogues himself. Many times these changes would make the scene more interesting but sometimes it is necessary for the director to work as per the script. Regarding this, one day Priyadarshan jokingly told Govinda that he was already paying money to the film’s writer Neeraj Vora, so he did not need another writer.

It is noteworthy that Govinda had worked in Priyadarshan’s popular comedy film Bhagam Bhag. This film is still counted among the most favorite comedy films of Hindi cinema. The dialogues and characters of the film are as popular among the audience even today as they were at the time of release.
