Bangladesh to host New Zealand during IPL 2026

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has officially confirmed that the Bangladesh national cricket team will play a white-ball series against the New Zealand national cricket team in April and May 2026. The tour will include three One Day International (ODI) and three T20 International (T20I) matches.

This series will be played along with the Indian Premier League, but it is not expected to have any major impact on the tournament. Currently, no Bangladeshi player is a part of any IPL team, which means that Bangladesh can field its full strong team. At the same time, New Zealand can send its second or ‘B’ team, because many of its important players are expected to be busy in the IPL during this period.

New Zealand tour schedule

New Zealand national cricket team will reach Dhaka on April 13, 2026. This series will start with ODI matches, after which the T20I series will be played. The matches will be played in Dhaka and Chittagong, which are two big cricket stadiums in Bangladesh. The tour will run from April 17 to May 2, 2026.
