Manchester United could be poised to benefit from Juventus' reported interest in Mason Greenwood. The forward plays for Ligue 1 side Marseille and continues to shine in France.
The 24-year-old has netted 25 times in 38 outings across all competitions for Marseille this campaign. That's already surpassed his tally of 22 goals in all competitions last term, fuelling further speculation about his future at the club.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus are intensifying their pursuit of United academy product Greenwood. The Italian giants are said to have first expressed interest two years ago whilst he was still at United.

It's suggested that missing out on Champions League qualification at the end of the campaign will result in the forward being 'sacrificed' by Marseille. It's claimed he will still command at least €50million (£43m), which would be below the player's 'true value.'
Greenwood moved to Marseille from United in summer 2024 for a sum of approximately £26.7million.United also inserted a considerable sell-on clause in the deal, which will see them pocket 40 per cent of either the full fee or profit made by Marseille, depending on the terms.
Even if it's a percentage of the profit, a £43 million sale this summer would net United a tidy sum of £6.5 million.

Marseille currently occupy the last Champions League spot in Ligue 1, but they're only two points clear of fourth-placed Lyon. It means their qualification for the tournament is far from certain.
Alongside Juventus, other clubs have shown interest in Greenwood ahead of the summer transfer window, including teams in Saudi Arabia. However, it's been suggested that tensions in the Middle East could make any deal less probable.
Earlier reports have also highlighted Juventus' interest in Greenwood. But it's rumoured that the club might attempt to lower the price by offering Jonathan David or Edon Zhegrova as part of the deal.
If that were to happen, United could see their windfall reduced should a transfer go through.
Marseille and Greenwood return to action on Sunday when they take on Lille in Ligue 1 (4.15pm kick-off). They head into the match on the back of two consecutive 1-0 league victories.
