Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s new film ‘Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge’ has performed tremendously at the box office even before its release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this film has earned such money in the preview shows, which has surprised the entire Bollywood. The film was released on 19 March, but its special preview shows were held on 18 March. The film grossed approximately Rs 75 crore globally in these shows.

This includes earnings of Rs 52.75 crore in India and Rs 22.25 crore in foreign countries. The film’s net collection domestically was Rs 44 crore, which is considered an important figure for any film. This earning is also special because it is only from the preview show, which means the film proved its strength even before its release.

The preliminary figures of the first day of the film have also been revealed. According to the report, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has earned around Rs 4.3 crore on the first day. Thus, the total domestic net collection of preview and first day comes to around Rs 48.3 crore. At the same time, the total gross collection worldwide has reached approximately Rs 79.3 crore. These figures clearly show that the film has taken a great start and its earnings are likely to increase further in the coming days.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ has easily broken the opening day record of its first part. The first part had earned around Rs 28 crore on the first day, while this time the film has earned much more than that. This film has also made the record of the biggest premiere collection ever in India.

This film has also broken old records in terms of preview collections. Earlier, the highest earning from paid preview was around Rs 8.5 crore, but ‘Dhurandhar 2’ left this figure far behind. Apart from this, it has also set a new record in the Hindi market. Earlier, a big film had earned more than Rs 10 crore in the preview, but ‘Dhurandhar 2’ earned much more than that.
