Meanwhile, Union Minister and National President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Chirag Paswan has given a big statement indicating that almost a consensus has been reached within the alliance regarding power formation and the face of the Chief Minister will be announced soon. Chirag Paswan said that positive talks are going on between all the parties of the alliance regarding government formation and now a consensus has been reached in the final stage. He assured that very soon it will be formally announced which party will be the Chief Minister of Bihar and under whose leadership the government will be formed. He also made it clear that this decision will be taken collectively by all the allies of the alliance.

When he was asked the question whether the “Samrat Model” will be implemented in Bihar, he said that Samrat Chaudhary is currently doing a good job as the Minister of Home Department, but it is too early to say anything about what his role will be in the future. It is clear from this that many options are being considered within the alliance. At the same time, Chirag Paswan also reacted to the speculations about making Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar the Chief Minister. He said that no final decision has been taken yet on any name and the public should wait for a while. It will soon become clear who will be the next Chief Minister of Bihar and from which party. However, he definitely said that the new government will continue to get the experience and guidance of Nitish Kumar.

Talking on national politics, Chirag Paswan described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long stay in office as a matter of pride for the country. At the same time, Chirag Paswan hit back at the statement given by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the Prime Minister.
