Gujarat High Court had granted bail to the student, which was challenged in the Supreme Court. But the Supreme Court has also upheld the bail decision.

'Not he, it was the intoxication inside him that did it'

On March 13, 2025, Rakshit Chaurasia, a student from Gujarat, met with this accident while driving a speeding car while intoxicated. This order of the Supreme Court is shocking for many people. The court accepted that the student did not do this intentionally, but the incident happened while under the influence of drugs. On this basis his bail was upheld.

Rakshit Chaurasia had run his car over people walking on the road, in which a woman died on the spot. A total of 8 people were injured in this accident, out of which one woman died. After the accident, his friend sitting in the car also got angry at him because he was driving very carelessly. But accused Rakshit got down from the car and started fighting with the people present there including his friend. Even after the intoxication subsided, he did not realize his mistake.
