With numerousconflicts erupting globally, record-breaking global warming and the looming threat of AI disrupting the world order, it's not just tech tycoons preparing for a potential apocalypse. Our favourite tattooed rapper is also geared up for doomsday.

Austin Richard Post, better known as Post Malone, splashed out on his luxurious apocalypse-ready property back in 2018, with a hefty price tag of $3.1 million, which is around £2.3million.

The plush mansion is nestled in Cottonwood Heights in Utah, USA, situated in an ultra-private area outside Salt Lake City.

Spread over 6.75 acres, the apocalypse-proof residence offers stunning views of mountains, canyons and the city skyline, making it a real estate gem even by celebrity standards.

In the past, Post has dubbed the city of Cottonwood Heights "the most amazing place ever" - and frankly, we'd be inclined to agree if our home boasted the amenities that the rapper's does, reports the Mirror US.

The 13,000-square-foot mansion, originally constructed in 1986, comes equipped with a wine cellar, pool, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court, fire pit, home gym, living room featuring a bar, outdoor kitchen and a conference room.

According to TMZ, the Syracuse-born artist also planned to install a cutting-edge recording studio in the space. Post's home comprises five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and a blend of sleek stone, wood, and glass structures.

So what elevates this Cottonwood Heights property to an exceptional apocalypse shelter? Undoubtedly Post Malone's belief that it'll prove ideal for surviving the End Of The World.

During a 2017 appearance on the H3 Podcast (prior to completing the purchase), Post had revealed: "I'm just buying a place out in the sticks. I'm building it underground. It's going to be fun until the world ends. But whenever the world ends, it's going to be functional."

Discussing his blueprint for the doomsday refuge, the artist stated: "I'm going to put in, like, 30 bunk beds. It's free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy s**t. I can't wait."

The musician also forecasted plenty of "weird s**t that happens within our lifetime".

During a separate February 2018 conversation with Montreality, the performer criticised "the f*****g US government", calling it "the biggest lie in the world" and asserting it is "not what it used to be" whilst outlining his contingency strategy for civilisation's collapse.

He elaborated: "Move somewhere, because whenever martial law is declared ... whenever your credit cards fail, whenever your banks fail ... you have three days to get out of where you are because that's when they're coming for you.

"That's the big move. That's checkmate right there. And they think they have you." The rapper then urged people to prepare for action themselves, advising: "get your scraps. Stand up for yourself. Build a tower. Build a long road where you can see them coming. Don't give up, America."

Post's Utah property is said to feature bullet-proof floor-to-ceiling windows alongside a robust security system.

Prior to relocating to his extravagant Utah doomsday bunker, Post Malone had been residing in a $26 million Beverly Hills rental.
