A two-wheeler hit your car! Especially when you are patiently waiting for the traffic jam to get over. How will you react when there is nothing wrong at your end? For sure, most of us would shout and make a scene. But this car driver from Bengaluru is different.



In a viral video shared by the X page, Karnataka Portfolio, a car is seen stuck in traffic, and a two-wheeler bumps into it, trying to squeeze in from the left. The two-wheeler clearly gets stuck, and he is not even able to move. Soon, the car driver comes out and, rather than shouting, helps the scooter driver get out.



"Driving on the footpath and colliding with a car, yet the car owner remains completely calm—this says a lot about character. While many people would immediately lose their temper in such a situation, this car driver handled it with remarkable patience and maturity. Even though the two-wheeler rider was clearly at fault for riding on the footpath and causing the accident, the car owner did not react with anger or aggression. Instead, he chose to stay composed and even offered help to the rider. That level of self-control and empathy is truly admirable and reflects a responsible and thoughtful individual,' reads the caption of the video.



"On the other hand, the behaviour of the two-wheeler rider is quite concerning. Riding on the footpath is not only illegal but also extremely dangerous. Footpaths are meant for pedestrians, not vehicles. By choosing to ride there, the rider put not only his own life at risk but also endangered innocent pedestrians who rely on that space for safety. This kind of impatience and disregard for rules is unfortunately becoming very common on Bengaluru roads. Many two-wheeler riders seem to lack basic road discipline and patience, often taking shortcuts that compromise safety. Such reckless behaviour highlights a larger issue, an absence of civic sense and respect for traffic rules. If everyone starts using footpaths as an extension of the road, it defeats their very purpose and creates chaos. In contrast, the calm and understanding reaction of the car owner sets a powerful example of how people should behave in stressful situations. Instead of escalating the conflict, he chose humanity and responsibility, which is something more people should learn from. Overall, this incident clearly shows the difference between reckless impatience and composed responsibility, the user adds.
