Lucknow, 23 March. On the occasion of completion of nine years of Uttar Pradesh government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued an emotional letter to the people of the state. In this letter, he has mentioned in detail the works to the development, good governance and public welfare of the state. Starting his message with the blessings of Mother Durga, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has made unprecedented progress in the last nine years on the strength of spiritual inspiration and public participation.

He said that today the state is establishing new dimensions of development and positive changes have been seen in the administrative functioning. The increasing participation, self-confidence and economic empowerment of women in rural areas has been specially underlined in the letter. He said that due to the impact of government schemes, women are now rapidly moving forward in the mainstream of development and there has been significant improvement in the fields of health and education.

Referring to the situation before 2017, the Chief Minister said that at that time the youth of the state were forced to migrate for employment, whereas today Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a center of employment and investment. He also talked about youth getting government jobs through a transparent recruitment process. Referring to the reforms in the field of education, he said that now poor and working class children are also getting quality education, for which initiatives like Atal Residential Schools have been taken.

Apart from this, efforts to extend the benefits of schemes to the deprived and backward classes, improving law and order and ensuring the safety of women have also been prominently included in the letter. The Chief Minister described this as the result of continuous efforts of the government and public support. In the end, the Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to ensure their active participation in nation building and overall development of the state. He expressed hope that all citizens will together contribute in making Uttar Pradesh more prosperous and self-reliant.
