In an age where people are still debating about work-life balance, a video is going viral that shows a female plastic surgeon returning home after not 8, 16, but 50 hours of duty. Yes, you read that right, 50 hours. It is very clear that some professions are more demanding than others, and the medical field certainly is among these. Though the video doesn’t detail the surgeon’s hectic schedule, it rather features the warm and hilarious welcome she received from her mother-in-law as she came back.



The video shows the daughter-in-law walking into her house, and her mother-in-law, with a traditional aarti, welcomes her. The surgeon 'bahu' then touches the feet of her mother-in-law and seeks her blessings. Their conversation amid all things has left the netizens in splits.



The mother-in-law, while welcoming her surgeon daughter-in-law, says, “Bade bhaag hamare, jo hamare ghar tum padhare. (We are so lucky that you came to our home).” And as the surgeon (Saumya Gupta) touches her mother-in-law’s feet, she says, “Thank you, mummy. Bhagwan mujhe sadhbuddhi de. Ghar me aur waqt bitane ka samay de."



Then, mother-in-law adds, “Bhaisaab, aisi bahu dekhi tumne? Jo char char din me ghar me aave hai. Hamara kya sukh hai isey? (Have you seen such a daughter-in-law, who comes home in four days?)."



The caption of the video reads, “Itni late entry ke baad… Aapko kya lgta hai, (What do you think will happen after such a late entry?).”
