Mumbai: Actor Ramm Charan, who is shooting for the sports drama Peddi, suffered an injury. The actor sustained an injury near his eye, which left him with stitches. However, the actor’s team confirmed that he is doing well and got back to work without taking any breaks.

“Ram Charan was shooting for an action episode yesterday (Tuesday) and was injured. He had to get four sutures for it,” said a source. They added, “He was injured above his eye, not his eye, like some seem to believe. His eye is fine. He is back to work as it’s a minor injury and there’s nothing to worry about.”

Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, features Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu. The film’s shooting was resumed in November 2024, and the title announcement was made in March 2025. AR Rahman is the film’s music producer.

The film was initially slated for release on March 27. However, it was postponed to April 30th.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan had recently shared his views on Dhurandhar on social media. He lauded Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh and the entire crew for the film’s making.
