Mohamed Salah is said to have already made a definitive decision on what his next move won't be after announcing his Liverpool exit. The Egypt international confirmed his departure for the end of the season on Tuesday and it has been reported by The Sun that he is not interested in following in Lionel Messi's footsteps with a transfer to the MLS.

They have claimed however, that the 33-year-old is tempted to become the Saudi Pro League’s new poster boy in a sensational £200million-plus offer. There has been a serious interest from the Middle East in Salah for a number of years.

Al Ittihad are considered the most realistic destination having tried to bring in Salah in a blockbuster transfer just under three years ago with Liverpool turning down a £150million bid. However, Al-Qadsiah, managed by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, have reportedly pulled out of the race.

Salah remaining in Europe is another possibility if he is open to that, as per The Sun, with clubs La Liga and Serie A clubs expected to be interested. Before joining Liverpool, Salah had one extremely successful season in Italy at AS Roma.

While so much has been said on Salah's next move, there has also been plenty of verdicts delivered on who will replace him at Anfield. Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard has recently made his thoughts perfectly clear on the attributes required before then naming the winger he wants to see come in.

He told TNT Sports: "You have to buy someone who is box-office or you're not replacing him. They have to be top-end, top three (or) four wingers in the world to replace Mo Salah because that’s what Mo has been.

“If you are Liverpool, you have got to go ready. Tried and tested. For me that would be [Michael] Olise. Somebody of that calibre.

“If you don’t ask, you don’t get. And I wouldn’t want to see him leave Bayern because that front three is amazing. But if you are talking (about) Olise on that right-hand side for Liverpool, that is box office.”

The former Crystal Palace star is one of many marquee options that have been linked over the last 24 hours with Manchester United-linked Yan Diomande as another. Desire Doue is another name that fits the requirements set by Gerrard with Paris Saint-Germain teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia another explosive attacking option.

Arsenal have since emerged as contenders for his signature this summer as they look for a marquee left-sided forward. The Georgian can play in every position across the front three, though.
