New Delhi: The complete schedule of the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) has now been released. This crucial phase will start from 13th April and continue till 24th May 2026, in which the remaining 50 matches of the league stage will be played. In this second phase, the competitions will be organized in 12 different cities of the country, which include Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur and New Chandigarh. As the tournament progresses, the competition for a place in the playoffs is expected to become even more exciting.
This second phase will start on April 13, when the teams of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals will face each other in Hyderabad. This match will start the high-voltage matches of this phase. This time too, special arrangements for double-headers have been made for the fans, in which a total of 8 double-headers will be played. On the days of these double-header matches, the afternoon match will start at 3:30 pm and the evening match will start at 7:30 pm.
This year, some interesting changes will be seen in the home venues of the teams. Punjab Kings will play their home matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamshala, which includes three important matches in Dharamshala. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals will play four home matches in Jaipur. Royal Challengers Bangalore is also planning to play three matches in Bengaluru and two matches in Raipur.
The dates of playoff matches have not been announced yet. BCCI has confirmed that the venues for the playoff matches will be announced later. As the league stage reaches its final stages, the playoff competition between the teams will become even more interesting.
