RCB established a successful auction strategy through their intelligent selection process The team dedicated its efforts toward acquiring multiple all-rounders while building a complete squad through the addition of fast bowling alternatives.

The team spent 16.15 crore to complete their roster by signing 25 players who filled all eight open international positions. The team built its strategy around selecting players with multiple skills who could replace Hazlewood while assisting the Indian fast bowling unit.

The team selected two important players through their picks who selected Jacob Duffy because he showed intelligence while Kanishk Chouhan became their last choice. The Indian Under-19 off-spin all-rounder brings value to both spin bowling and batting, which makes him a cost-effective acquisition.

The franchise secured Jordan Cox for 75 lakh who became a valuable player who could enhance the team's batting strength when players sustain injuries throughout the year. RCB strengthened its team through major signings who included Venkatesh Iyer, who joined the team for a hefty 7 crore. The franchise kept most of its core players who were scheduled to participate in the auction.

RCB possesses a strong top order combined with effective all-rounders yet needs to fill several remaining positions before starting their IPL 2026 high-stakes season.
