In total, 11,403 examinees will participate in this monumental competitive event. A total of 11,727 candidates were declared successful in the UPPSC PCS Preliminary Examination; however, based on application and eligibility criteria, the final count of candidates eligible to appear for the Main Examination stands at 11,403.

The UPPSC PCS 2026 examination will be conducted entirely in an offline (pen-and-paper) mode, utilizing a descriptive format.

Admit cards for the UPPSC PCS Main Examination 2026 can be downloaded from the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission: uppsc.up.nic.in. The Commission has explicitly stated that, in addition to the admit card, it is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity proof (such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving License) and two passport-sized photographs to the examination center.
