Hardik Pandya fulfilled his promise after the T20 World Cup win. He gave Rs 10 lakh each to 11 ground staff of Wankhede Stadium, who had helped him in training before the World Cup.

Mumbai: After the spectacular victory in the T20 World Cup, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has fulfilled one of his big promises. He has rewarded the ground staff of Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium who had helped him in his preparation before the World Cup. Hardik has given a check of Rs 10 lakh each and many other gifts to each of the 11 ground staff. With this step Hardik has won the hearts of the fans.

Actually, before the World Cup, Hardik had sweated profusely at the Wankhede Stadium. His practice sessions often lasted late into the night. The ground staff of the stadium helped him completely in this difficult training. Hardik had then promised to give him a reward, which he has now fulfilled after winning the World Cup.

On Thursday, Hardik himself reached Wankhede Stadium and handed over checks of Rs 10 lakh each to all the ground staff. Let us tell you that in this Wankhede Stadium, India had confirmed its place in the final by defeating England in the semi-finals.

In the final match held in Ahmedabad, India won the title by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs, in which Hardik's performance was very important.
