What is the story of ‘Matka King’?

According to the information, the story of ‘Matka King’ is based on the changing Bombay (Mumbai) of the 1960s. In this, Vijay Verma is playing the character of ‘Brij Bhatti’, who is a sharp minded and hardworking cotton trader. Amidst the crowded market, chawl culture and changing power dynamics, this story starts with a small idea, which gradually takes a big shape. With time this system starts attracting every section of the society and makes Brij Bhatti the “Matka King”.

Big names included in the star cast

In this series, Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, Siddharth Jadhav, Bhupendra Jadawat and Gulshan Grover will be seen in lead roles along with Vijay Verma. Apart from this, actors like Vineet Kumar Singh, Bharat Jadhav, Girish Kulkarni, Jamie Lever, Kishore Kadam, Cyrus Sahukar, Ishtiaq Khan and Sanjay Jotangiya will also be seen playing important roles.
