According to reports, Akshay Kumar had left the project midway, but there was no official confirmation on this. Bhoot Bangla: Back with Priyadarshan

However, Akshay Kumar is now in the news for his new film Bhoot Bangla. This film is of horror-comedy genre and through this, Akki is making a comeback with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. Priyadarshan has made many cult comedy films in his career like Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and De Danadan, in which Akshay Kumar’s comic timing was very much liked by the audience.

The funny teaser of Bhoot Bangla has been released recently and fans have appreciated it a lot. This film reflects the old style of Akshay Kumar and will give the audience a chance to enjoy his horror-comedy style once again. The release date of the film has also been decided. Bhoot Bangla will release in theaters on April 10, 2026.
