Noida Authority Water: Noida Noida Authority supplies Ganga water in the sectors. Actually, it is claimed that the Ganga water supplied in the sectors can be drunk. But to know its truth, Read team today conducted an on camera investigation in Sector 56 of Noida. Read’s investigation has found the quality of water supplied by Noida Authority to be very poor.

We took different types of water in two different glasses, in one glass we kept Ganga water supplied by Noida Authority and in the other glass we kept Aaro water. When we checked the TDS of water supplied by Noida Authority using a TDS meter which measures the quality of water, the results were quite surprising.

How much TDS did you get?

After investigation, TDS of Noida Authority water was found to be around 2200 PPM. When we checked the TDS of Aaro water, the TDS of Aaro water was found to be around 60 PPM. Let us tell you, TDS of gutter water is also above 2 PPM thousand.

How much TDS water is it okay to drink?

Now let us understand how much TDS water can be drunk or is considered suitable for drinking. If TDS of water is between 50 PPM to 100 PPM then it is considered very good. That means it can be drunk. If TDS is up to 500 PPM then that water can be used for drinking.

Water above how much TDS is dangerous?

Water with TDS above 500 PPM cannot be used for drinking. Whereas TDS of water supplied by Noida Authority is coming above 2000 PPM, hence this water is not fit for drinking.

What did the local people say?

Read team spoke to residents of Sector 56 regarding poor quality water supply. A resident named Ruchi Aggarwal said that the water is so hard that even hair starts falling if one takes a bath. He said that we had complained about this and officials had also come here, but the situation has not been improved yet.

A resident named Harish says that the water supplied through Noida Authority contains 90 percent ground water, while the remaining 10 percent is Ganga water mixed in it, due to which its TDS reaches beyond 2 thousand. Because of which people do not drink this water, every family buys water from outside and drinks it. On the other hand, when an attempt was made to contact the authorities in this regard, the phone was not picked up.
