The Delhi Capitals team captained by Akshar Patel reached Lucknow on Sunday afternoon. Leaving the airport, the team reached Centrum Hotel on Shaheed Path at 3:30 pm, where the players were given a traditional welcome. The team will practice on Monday from 6 pm to 9 pm at Ekana Stadium.

Key players of Delhi Capitals will be participating in this exercise, which includes former LSG captain KL Rahul, Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav, Australian pacer Mitchell Starc, South African batsman David Miller and West Indies bowler Ngidi. Apart from this, Lucknow’s local leg spinner Vipraj Nigam will also be seen playing for Delhi.

LSG practiced in Ekana

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) players were seen practicing at the Ekana Stadium on Sunday itself. The team sweated for the match to be held on April 1. The practice session in the afternoon mainly involved Indian players while the overseas players took rest.

Team head coach Justin Langer watched all the players bat in the nets and discussed their technique with many batsmen. Captain and wicketkeeper batsmen Rishabh Pant, Mayank Yadav, Arjun Tendulkar, Avesh Khan, Ayush Badoni and Lucknow pacer Naman Tiwari were included in the practice.
