In 61 raids across the city, H-FAST found spoiled ingredients in ginger-garlic paste, adulterated ingredients and unhygienic storage in biscuits, and even cakes made with rotten eggs.
They seized 15 tons of adulterated products and arrested 64 people.
The team, led by Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar, is urging everyone to report shady food practices at 871-266-1212, because safe food should be a given for all Hyderabadis.
