Cricket Australia has unveiled a roster of 21 male players who will be offered national contracts for the upcoming 2026-27 season. This aligns with the Memorandum of Understanding between Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers' Association, which stipulates that between 20 and 24 male players can be contracted at the start of each contract year.

Australia is gearing up for a packed Test schedule, kicking off with a two-match home series against Bangladesh in August, followed by tours to Zimbabwe (three ODIs) and South Africa (three ODIs and three Test matches) in September and October.

These international engagements will be followed by a home white-ball series against England, and then a grueling stretch of ten Test matches in 14 weeks against New Zealand (four at home), India (five away), and a special 150th Anniversary Test against England at the MCG.

Among the notable changes, fast bowler Brendan Doggett has earned his first full contract, while opener Jake Weatherald has retained his upgraded contract from the previous season. Michael Neser and Todd Murphy have also regained their full contracts. However, Usman Khawaja (retired), Sam Konstas, Glenn Maxwell, Lance Morris, Jhye Richardson, and Matt Short were not renewed from the previous full contract list.
