Collagen has become something of a skincare and wellness buzzword of late, and with many options on the market it can be tricky to know where to spend our hard-earned cash. However, for those prioritising skin and hair, collagen can prove fruitful in aiding with nourishing locks and boosting the complexion's elasticity.

Inside Reverse Life's formula, users will find 10g / 10,000mg of hydrolysed marine collagen - which has been derived from ethically farmed fish - alongside vitamins C and D, plus zinc and biotin. In Reverse Life's consumer trials, 85% reported that skin looked more hydrated in just 20 days.

The collagen supplement comes approved by Doctor Jonquille Chantrey who has 20 years of experience in Trauma, Reconstructive, and Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery. She has performed over 75,000 surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Chantrey says: "Consistent use over at least 12 weeks delivers the most noticeable results, and that's exactly what this clinical study confirmed. If you're starting to see early signs of fine lines or wrinkles, now could be the perfect time to start a collagen supplement like Reverse Life."

Those currently in the menopause may also be keen to know that Reverse Life says it has been awarded an M-Tick by GenM, a company leading the way in signposting menopause-friendly products.

Elsewhere, Holland & Barrett offers its Bovine Collagen 3000mg 30 Tablets for £8.19, which works out at 27p per tablet. The retailer claims it encourages new collagen production, while also helping to maintain existing collagen and protecting it from damage.

At Boots, there's the Vida Glow Natural Marine Collagen Original which retails for £39 and includes 30 servings. Its packaging pictured on the health and beauty retailer's website says it 'promotes glowing skin and smooths fine lines.'

Back to Reverse Life, and users have reported being impressed with their results using the collagen supplement. Currently the company's Trustpilotscore stands at a very respectable 4.4 out of 5 from 20K ratings - which the reviews website cites is 'excellent.'

A review on the platform from a mature user reads: "I have been taking it for nearly two years, very happy. My age is 80, it has helped me with my skin overall - no wrinkle on my face. Can’t say enough how good this product is."

Meanwhile another raved: "Reverse Life company are doing a great job. Reverse Life products are one of the best.

"My skin looks plump, clear, beautiful and a reduction in fine lines. It’s increased the strength and thickness in my nails and hair."

It is of course worth noting that despite mostly glowing reviews, there were a few users who highlighted minor concerns. One commented on the mixed berry flavour: "The taste is simply too sweet for me."

Despite this, a third enthused: "I have been using this for almost 2 years, it definitely has helped my skin's elasticity with menopause. I get comments all the time on having barely any lines or wrinkles at age 57, almost 58.

"It tastes good, not doing anything for my joints sadly. But will continue to take it for other ailments too, like improving my hair, nails and stomach issues. Thank you."

Another user, who stated their age was 56, said: "Fantastic product, my hair, skin and nails never looked so good. I've noticed my fine lines are less prominent, so l start my day with the yummy shot and I'm happy l never run out as deliveries are spot on with their timing."

Meanwhile, another reviewer said they'd even been asked if they'd had Botox, writing: "I've been using this product for at least 6 months, I've noticed my nails grow quicker than they did, but not noticed any difference to my hair.

"But on the plus side my friend asked me if I had Botox recently and I said no, definitely not, so it must be working on my skin - I'm 60 yrs old and comments I've had say they can't believe I'm 60."

Someone else said they'd ditched Botox altogether after using Reverse Life, commenting: "No need for anymore Botox. Amazing stuff!"
