Bengaluru: Rumors have been circulating in Gandhinagar about a potential rift between the talented actors and close friends of the Kannada film industry, Rishab Shetty, Raj B Shetty, and Rakshit Shetty. The speculation gained momentum after Rishab Shetty recently unfollowed Hombale Films and subsequently unfollowed Raj B Shetty on social media.

Pramod Shetty, a close friend of the trio, addressed these rumors during a conversation with TV9 Kannada while discussing the film NH 66. He clarified the situation regarding what is happening within the shetty gang.

Pramod stated that everything is perfectly fine and confirmed he had also seen the news about being unfollowed. He mentioned that he was also unfollowed but had been with Rishab just a day before the news broke. He noted that while he does not know if Rishab is doing this with a specific intent, Rishab remains on excellent terms with him, which is what matters most.

Pramod asserted that there is no misunderstanding between any of them.

Regarding the social media activity, Pramod explained that when celebrities reach a certain stature, their social media accounts are often managed by professional teams. He suggested that the decision to unfollow many accounts might be a strategy by the social media team to limit the number of followed profiles.

He emphasized that Rishab has spoken to him even after the unfollowing and that he does not take such digital actions seriously. According to him, Rishab, Rakshit, Raj, and Sheetal are all doing well and stay in regular contact.

Addressing the specific issue of unfollowing Hombale Films, Pramod admitted he was initially confused and called Rishab to ask about it.

Rishab informed him that he intends to focus on production under Rishab Shetty Films. Although he had previously stepped back from production to avoid overcommitting, he has now decided to return to it.

Regarding the Hombale unfollow specifically, Rishab told Pramod he would discuss it further later.
