New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) produced an all-round show to hand Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) a big 65-run loss at home in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. In the 6th game of the cash-rich league at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the Sunrisers batted exceptionally well and followed it up with a brilliant bowling to register their first win in the season.

The Knight Riders suffered their second consecutive loss after going down narrowly against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their opening fixture. Chasing a big scored of 227, the three-time winners were bundled out for 161 runs in 16 overs as Jaydev Unadkat starred with brilliant figures of 3/21 in his 3 overs. Apart from him, Eshan Malinga and Nitish Kumar Reddy claimed two wickets apiece while Harsh Dubey also contributed with a scalp.

KKR suffer second consecutive loss

For the Knight Riders, Finn Allen started off on a fiery note scoring 28 off just 7 balls Angkrish Raghuvanshi (52 off 29) coming up with a half-century but it was not enough for them to cross the line. Rinku Singh also rose up to the occasion scoring 35 runs in just 25 balls but could not convert his score into a big one. Rest of the batters could not show courage as the side kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.
