Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 – Plot details

The second season will begin immediately after “Trials at the Academy” (s1e23). In Season 2, Will Serfort is still a magical academy student who does not have any magical abilities to help him in a world where magic reigns supreme (rather, Will’s reliance is on his skills as both a sword fighter and an athlete) His goal remains to eventually get to the highest level of magic users you can be (Magia Vander) when reaching Mercedes Caulis (the Wizard Tower) to fulfil a promise made to Elfaria (Will’s childhood friend) long ago.

You can also anticipate the following things happening during Season 2:

  • Final examinations and other sorts of difficult challenges at the academy.

  • Exploration of dungeons, fighting monsters, and training by doing practical (practical) things with high stakes during training.

  • Enormous new threats to both the academy and the city (not only mages with undisclosed goals, but also dark forces).

  • More focus on Will’s experiences as he develops as a character, builds alliances/rivalries, and learns the secrets of the Tower/world (which has been threatened by the Celestial Hosts).

Further chapters of the ongoing comic series are going to be adapted from manga serialized by Fujino Omori (author of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?) and illustrator Toshi Aoi. As the manga series still has a lot of volume to go (estimated at the halfway point), Season 2 is going to depict Will’s development toward the Tower and elaborate on the action elements, his friendships, and the sword v. magic theme.
