Gary Neville is reportedly raking in over £1million monthly through his podcasting ventures, in addition to his Sky Sports salary. The Manchester United legend's Buzz 16 Productions – which manages projects such as The Overlap – generated revenue of £11.6m last year.

Meanwhile, Buzz distributed a reported £4.6m in salaries and pension payments last year, according to The Sun, while Neville split a dividend exceeding £3m with three other directors. Beyond contributing to programmes like Stick To Football and Fan Debate, alongside long-standing broadcasting colleague Jamie Carragher, Neville also features in a brief Sky Sports podcast when covering Premier League fixtures.

In January, he additionally offloaded a majority stake in The Overlap to Global, which controls Classic FM, Capital and LBC, amongst others. Discussing the transaction at the time, Neville said: "The Overlap started as an idea that we thought people might like and we went for it.

"It's a team that I love working with and I'm incredibly proud to be a part of. We never thought of it as a business, we just wanted to create something that people loved."

Neville is regularly accompanied by the likes of Carragher, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Jill Scott on The Overlap, hosting a range of prominent guests throughout the years. Some of the latest figures to feature on the programme include Wayne Rooney, Ange Postecoglou, Ashley Cole, Rory McIlroy and Gareth Bale.

It comes as Neville, Keane and Carragher were in agreement over Manchester City's FA Cup quarter-final encounter with Liverpool, which is scheduled to occur on Saturday, 4 April, at the Etihad Stadium.

Arne Slot's outfit were dealt a crushing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Pep Guardiola's Sky Blues earlier this campaign and enter the tie as second favourites to advance into the final four.

And Keane was swift to ignite the discussion regarding who will emerge triumphant in Greater Manchester later this week. He said: "Liverpool are so bad."

"You know, one of the worst performances I've seen this season was Liverpool at NottinghamForest – I know I'm going back six or eight weeks. I said they were bad champions."

While Keane predicted a 2-1 victory for City, Neville and Carragher went a step further by saying that the game will finish 3-1 to City. Manchester City approach the match in excellent form, having already inflicted a 2-0 defeat upon Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final last month courtesy of a Nico O'Reilly brace.

Still in contention for the Premier League crown, Guardiola will have his sights set on a domestic treble of EPL, Carabao Cup and FA Cup glory ahead of this weekend's fixture.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have only the Premier League to focus on for the remainder of the campaign – having missed out on European football due to last season's 15th-place finish and suffering early exits from both domestic cups at the hands of Grimsby and Brighton, respectively.

At present, the Reds occupy third spot in the league table, largely owing to Michael Carrick injecting fresh energy into the club since taking the reins as interim head coach in January following Ruben Amorim's dismissal.

United also find themselves just six points adrift of second-placed City heading into their final seven matches of the season. Next up for Carrick and his side is a home clash at Old Trafford against Leeds United on Monday, April 13.
