Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held an important meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding promotion of digital mapping in various departmental projects by BISAG (N). During this, he instructed the officials to make maximum use of modern technology.

The Chief Minister said that under the ‘Developed Village-Developed Ward’ campaign, the actual needs of villages and cities can be understood better by using digital mapping technology. This will help in preparing plans in a more accurate and effective manner.

He directed the officials to ensure the use of this technology on a wide scale, so that transparency and speed can be brought in the development works.

Senior officials of various departments including Chief Secretary V. Srinivas were present in the meeting, who discussed in detail the progress and prospects of the projects.

The government believes that better planning of development works will be possible through digital mapping, which will ensure balanced and rapid development in the villages and cities of the state.
