Bahrain: Kannada Sangha Bahrain has arranged travel for around 400 Indian residents who wanted to return to their homeland.


As part of this humanitarian effort, a chartered Gulf Air flight carrying 193 passengers travelled from Dammam to Mumbai on March 16. The initiative marked a significant step in the organisation’s community service activities.


In addition, 63 passengers travelled on March 15 and 140 passengers on March 16 through regular Gulf Air flights, successfully completing their journeys.


The entire operation was led by Ajith Bangera, with support from the executive committee, volunteers, members and well-wishers.


All passengers safely reached their destinations via the Bahrain–Dammam–Mumbai route, Bangera said. He added that the coordinated effort helped nearly 400 Indian residents return home smoothly and safely.


He stated that the initiative was carried out with the guiding principle of serving humanity.


Kannada Sangha Bahrain expressed gratitude to all members, supporters and volunteers who contributed to the success of the effort. Passengers and their families also thanked Bangera, the executive committee and volunteers for their assistance.
