Rashmika Mandanna is celebrating her first birthday after marriage, making the occasion especially meaningful for her and her family. Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda, who tied the knot on February 26, 2026, are also working together on an upcoming film titled Ranabaali. The couple has intertwined their post-wedding celebrations with promotions for their film.

Taking to Instagram, Vijay shared a heartfelt note for his wife and co-star, while also giving fans a sneak peek into Ranabaali. The post featured exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses and a first look at Rashmika's character. He wrote, "I love you, Jayamma."

The teaser opens with the line, "In a world painted in grey... she was his only colour," followed by a birthday message celebrating the strength of her character: "Celebrating the strength of Ranabaali, Jayamma. Happy birthday, Rashmika Mandanna." The video shows the actress discussing scenes with her team before transforming into her character, adorned with a bindi and gold jewellery.

Vijay also unveiled Rashmika's look from the film, which is similar to Rashmika's bridal look. However, the post received mixed reactions online. Some netizens felt that since it was Rashmika's first birthday after marriage, the celebration could have been more personal and romantic rather than making it promotional.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Anand shared a photo from a past trip and wrote, "Happy birthday, Rushiee... Carry that big smile and determination with you always... Got your back always."

Meanwhile, just a day earlier, Rashmika, Vijay, and his parents were spotted at Hyderabad airport as they left for the actress's birthday getaway. She was also seen cutting a cake with paparazzi before heading inside, accompanied by Vijay's mother, Madhavi Deverakonda.

Rashmika will be seen in  Cocktail 2, alongside Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, and is directed by Homi Adajania.

Her next major project is Animal Park, the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Animal, expected to go on floors in 2027. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
