New Delhi: The rollout of the new Porsche 911, of course, has made many, and it is usually in the same manner. Whenever a new-generation or facelift comes, you have the arrival of either Carrera, Carrera S or the likes of both with the powerful versions in 911 Turbo and 911 GT3, followed by the mid-variants of the Carrera T and GTS, before finally coming with the limited-run Neunelfers, like the GT2 RS, 911 R and 911 S/T.
The present 992.2-gen car has seen a little deviation from the trend, having unveiled the base Carrera and then the all-new hybrid 911 Carrera GTS models. Ultimately, though, two years from the launch of the newest 911, the lines are full of all the sports cars that would be expected by this point in time.

Now, Porsche has teased yet another addition to the 911 lineup, and it is arriving on April 14th, but the brand continues to be secretive about the car. Without giving out too much about the car, the brand has said that the 911 will be quite a “fun” car and will deliver “pure driving pleasure”.
There’s just one teaser photo, which shows the car wrapped with a sheet that hides quite a lot of the details, but that’s enough to understand how it will be.
There’s no wing at the back, which might not actually make it that sporty, like a GT2 Rs. It could be the long-rumoured GT3 cabriolet. There is evidence that might suggest it is a GT3, coming with real door handles in place of flush handles and gets GT3-style vents on the hood as well. It seems to get a proper roof, and that might rule out a 911 Speedster.
Of course, one does wish it came with Porsche’s naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat six and came paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
