UPESC Exam 2026: Uttar Pradesh Education Selection Commission (UPESC) has established new command control for the recruitment examinations like UPTET, Assistant Professor and TGT-PGT teacher recruitment proposed in 2026. Its objective is to live monitor the attendance of the candidates and the examination process through CCTV cameras and biometric system in the examination centres. This initiative has been taken to prevent cheating, increase transparency and make the examination process secure.
Command control and modern surveillance system
Uttar Pradesh Education Selection Commission (UPESC) has set up a new command control to make various recruitment examinations proposed in 2026 like UPTET, Assistant Professor and TGT-PGT teacher recruitment cheating-free and transparent. Live monitoring of examination centers will be done from this centre. Candidates’ attendance and examination process will be continuously monitored through CCTV cameras and biometric systems.
If any fault is detected in any center through live broadcast from the command control centre, immediate action will be taken. The recording will be kept safe, so that any future dispute or irregularity can be resolved impartially.
Importance of CCTV and biometric attendance
UPESC has ensured surveillance both inside and outside the center with the help of CCTV cameras in the examination centres. Also, biometric attendance of the candidates is linked to live monitoring. This step is not only to prevent cheating but is also considered effective in increasing the transparency of the examination.
With this technical system, the examination process will be more secure and controllable. Officials say that this will give confidence to both the candidates and the administration that the examination is being conducted fairly.
Starting with Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam
This new monitoring system of UPESC will be implemented for the first time in the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination to be held on 18th and 19th April. This examination will be held in two shifts at 53 centers in the state and is being conducted for 910 posts. Strict monitoring of the candidates will be ensured at the centers set up in Prayagraj, Agra, Meerut, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.
The same system will be followed in the upcoming UPTET and other teacher recruitment examinations, so that cheating and irregularities can be completely prevented.
