Jharkhand News: On Tuesday, a half-burnt body of an unidentified woman was found on the roadside in the Ledhwa hill forest of Lokayanapur police station area in the third block of Giridih district. This matter created panic in the area. The condition of the body was so serious that it could not be identified at the moment.

Passersby informed the police

Eyewitnesses said that passers-by passing through the forest saw the body and immediately informed the local people and the police. As soon as the information was received, police and people reached the spot.

Forensic team engaged in investigation of the case

Lokayanapur police station surrounded the area and started investigation. A search operation is being conducted to collect evidence in the surrounding forests and roadside. Considering the seriousness of the matter, forensic team and dog squad have also been called.

Police examining CCTV footage

In the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the woman might have been murdered at some other place and then to hide her identity, the body was burnt and thrown in the Ledhwa hill forest. Police are matching missing cases, interrogating local people and examining CCTV footage of the area to identify the woman. Police officials said that every aspect of the case is being seriously investigated and the incident will be revealed soon.
