The young man told that he first pushed the woman hard with his hands and feet and made her fall on the ground. Due to this the woman suffered injuries on her forehead. Then he covered the woman with a blanket and tried to suffocate her. In the end he killed her by strangling her. After the murder, the young man put the woman’s body in a box inside the double bed so that no one could see it. All this time his uncle and his uncle’s friend were standing outside the room and keeping guard.

After the murder, all three together tried to run away from there. Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh said that a call was received at Mangolpuri police station at around 7 pm on Tuesday evening. The caller told that the body of a woman was lying inside a bed box in a room of the building located in Pathar Market. The police team immediately reached the spot. There it was found that a person was running a hostel on one floor of that building. She told the police that the 22-year-old youth had asked her permission to take his room for a few hours. He said he needed a room to meet a woman. When the PG owner returned to his room around 7 pm, he found the room open and the young man missing from there. When he went inside, he saw that one leg was sticking out of the bed. When he opened the bed box, the woman’s dead body was lying inside. Immediately he informed the police.

Police officials said that after examining the body, pressure marks on the neck and injury marks on the forehead were clearly visible. The body has been sent for post-mortem. This woman was a resident of Mangolpuri. She worked as a domestic help. She was married and had three children. All this information was given by Joint Police Commissioner Jatin Narwal. Police have registered a case in this matter under section 103 (murder) and section 238 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Justice Code.

The officer involved in the investigation said that the young man started a scuffle with the woman, pushed her hard and made her fall, then strangled her to death. After that, he hid the body in the bed box and ran away from there along with the other two.
