A veteran doctor with 40 years of experience in the medical field has warned about the 5 enemies of health, which are called ‘5 White Foods’ in the medical world. The doctor claims that if you reduce or eliminate these five white things from your diet, you can stay safe from serious diseases till old age. Sugar and Salt: The hidden danger behind sweetness and taste. According to the doctor, refined sugar is the first and biggest enemy. It is called ’empty calories’ because it contains zero nutrients and is the main cause of diabetes and obesity. The second thing is salt. Although the body needs sodium, nowadays the habit of eating processed food and adding salt is making the blood pressure uncontrolled, which increases the risk of heart diseases. Doctors advise that limited use of rock salt is a better option. Flour and white rice: Refining takes away nutrients. Doctors consider white flour i.e. ‘refined flour’ as the ‘enemy of the intestines’. In the process of refining, all the fiber and vitamins are removed from it, due to which it sticks in the stomach and causes constipation and metabolic disorders. According to the doctor, if you have to drink milk, then A2 milk of desi cow or almond and coconut milk can be a better option. Adopt ‘brown’ formula for a healthy life. Like jaggery or sugar instead of sugar, bran flour instead of flour, and rock salt instead of white salt.
