MP Transfer: Madhya Pradesh government on Thursday took a major administrative step and transferred 26 IAS officers. The biggest impact of this reshuffle was seen in the capital Bhopal, where Priyank Mishra has been appointed as the new collector. At the same time, current Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh has been given the responsibility of the post of Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. Along with this, he has also been given the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director, Town and Country Investment.


Women officers got important responsibility


The special thing about this transfer list is that many women officers have been given the command of important districts.


Rakhi Sahay was made Umaria Collector.
– Sheela Dahima was given the responsibility of Sheopur
– Bidisha Mukherjee appointed Maihar Collector


Apart from this, Neha Meena has been transferred from Jhabua to Seoni Collector, while Pratibha Pal has been given the responsibility of Sagar Collector from Rewa. This step is considered important towards strengthening women leadership in administration.

New roles of senior officers


The government has also made many important changes at the senior level.


– Narmadapuram Collector Sonia Meena was made Additional Secretary in the Finance Department.
– Seoni Collector Shitala Patle appointed Secretary in Public Service Commission


These changes indicate that the government wants to make better use of administrative efficiency and experience.


Major changes in divisions and departments


Extensive reshuffle has also been done at divisional and departmental level.


– Shrikant Banoth was made the new commissioner of Narmadapuram division.
Shilpa Gupta was removed from public education and given the post of secretary in the home department.
– Abhishek Singh was transferred from Home Department and made Commissioner, Public Instruction and ex-officio Secretary, School Education Department.


These changes have been made with the aim of increasing administrative balance and efficiency.
