The story takes a painful turn when Rahi defends Anupama , saying she is a good mother who has never taught her children wrong through her own experiences. She says that Anupama has never been respected by anyone, but she does not compromise her values. Vasundhara twists the situation and tells Prem how much respect he has given Anupama, and in return, she is treating him like a stranger. Rahi tries to tell Prem that this is not the truth. Prem breaks down and apologizes to Anupama, saying it was his mistake to believe she would give him another chance. He asks Vasundhara to take him back to the Kothari house.



Vasundhara confronts AnupamaVasundhara confronts Anupama, saying her pride is not only ruining Prem's dream but will also damage the relationship between Prem and Rahi. Anupama stands there with tears in her eyes, completely devastated. She breaks down in front of Jassi. Anupama worries that Prem and Rahi's bond will be damaged because of her decision. Jassi comforts her and says Anupama is wrong. She explains that Anupama always comes back to help her family, even when they don't appreciate her. Jassi says Prem is choosing what is convenient for him instead of standing by the truth. Jassi makes Anupama promise to live her life for herself. Jassi also confesses that she has feelings for Ansh, which is why she is leaving for Mumbai to create distance. Jassi tells Anupama that the money she is giving already belongs to her and should be kept as payment for being their leader. Anupama hugs Jassi.



Prem drowns in guiltPrerna becomes anxious about how they will manage if Anupama files the report. She says they have invested so much and cannot afford the loss. She asks Prem how they will handle the loan payments. Rahi tries to calm everyone down and tells Prerna not to increase the tension. She asks Prem to rest and relax. Prem says he needs rest and bursts in anger, claiming Anupama has betrayed him. Rahi tells him that Anupama is only doing her duty. Prem argues that Anupama is not giving him a chance to fix his mistake. Rahi faces Prem's anger. Prem tells Rahi to leave him alone and calls himself a loser. Prerna decides to go after Prem. Vasundhara warns Rahi that whatever happens now will be Anupama's fault. Rahi is shocked.



Anupama chooses her principlesAnupama decides to submit the report. In her heart, she wishes that Prem would succeed and grow in life. She even imagines that Prem's restaurant will become the best in the world. Rahi approaches Prem and asks what is bothering him. Prem says he is a loser and has failed Vasundhara and Parag again. Rahi tries to console him. Prem asks Rahi why Anupama broke his dream when he valued her so much. Rahi is left speechless.



Anupama worries that Rahi and Prem's relationship will suffer because of her decision. Ansh tells Anupama that Rahi and Prem's bond should not be affected because of this situation. Anupama asks if Ansh also wants to move to Mumbai like Jassi. Ansh says he has family responsibilities and cannot leave. Anupama advises him not to give up on his dreams. Ansh responds that responsibility and dreams can go hand in hand. Anupama misses Ansh deeply.



Prem's failure becomes publicRahi receives a message from Prem early in the morning and wonders where he has gone. Paritosh reads the newspaper that reports Prem's restaurant has failed the security test. He feels happy and blames Anupama for this. Hasmuk says that Anupama actually saved Prem by bringing this to light. Pakhi, Leela, and Paritosh are all upset with Anupama's decision.



A devastating confrontationPrem welcomes Anupama to his restaurant. He taunts her for breaking his dream. Prem shares that he had always dreamed of having Anupama perform the opening ceremony of his restaurant. He asks Anupama to perform the ritual even though she is now his enemy.




Precap: Prem tells Anupama that this is their last meeting, and he will never see her face again. Anupama breaks down completely. Gautam tells the Kothari family that Anupama is responsible for Prem's current condition.
