The Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2026 at the New Chandigarh Stadium on Saturday, April 11. Shreyas Iyer leads PBKS who seeks their third consecutive victory after winning against Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings in their previous two games.


 


The team allowed CSK to score 209 runs during their last complete match. The bowlers want to enhance their performance after delivering a strong opening which saw them dismiss two Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) players for 25 runs before the rain interruption.


 


The Lucky Super Giants (LSG) defeated SRH by a score of 5 wickets. The current season brought them their second defeat in three matches. The bowlers managed to take the match to the final over even though their team lost.


 

Yuzvendra Chahal:

 


Yuzvendra Chahal has maintained a good IPL record against SRH throughout his career. The leg-spinner has achieved 29 wickets through 22 matches while maintaining an 8.01 economy rate and achieving two four-wicket hauls. He achieved bowling figures of 2/28 and 1/21 during his first two games against GT and CSK this season. After he achieved 16 wickets through 14 matches last year he will attempt to continue that success into this upcoming season.


 


Chahal holds the title of highest wicket-taker in IPL history with his record of 224 wickets from 177 matches. Across his T20 career he has achieved 387 wickets through 332 games which include two five-wicket hauls and 12 four-wicket performances.


 

Arshdeep Singh:

 


Arshdeep Singh aims to make a strong recovery against SRH after he failed to take wickets during his first three matches. The left-arm pacer topped PBKS’ wicket charts last season with 21 scalps in 16 innings. He has achieved 97 IPL wickets through 85 matches while maintaining a 9.02 economy rate which includes one five-wicket performance and two four-wicket achievements.


 


Arshdeep has played 197 T20 matches where he achieved 256 wickets through two five-wicket hauls and seven four-wicket performances. He has played 11 matches against SRH where he achieved 15 wickets while maintaining an economy rate of 7.79 and his top performance reached 4/29.

Harshal Patel:

 


Patel holds a strong IPL record against PBKS. The medium pacer has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches at an economy rate of 9.81, including two four-wicket hauls. The previous season, he dismissed Priyansh Arya, Shashank Singh, Glenn Maxwell, and Shreyas Iyer, finishing with figures of 4/42.


 


The 35-year-old bowler has achieved 151 wickets through 121 IPL matches while maintaining an economy rate of 8.87 and his best performance reached 5/27. He achieved 16 wickets during the last season through 13 innings which he maintained at an economy rate of 9.80. Harshal has established himself as a bowler who can succeed during both powerplay and death overs because he has accumulated 268 wickets through 219 T20 matches.
