Lucknow, 11 April. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set a clear roadmap for making Uttar Pradesh the ‘Deep Tech Capital’ and has instructed the officials to take time-bound and result-oriented action. Under the vision of ‘Innovate in UP, Scale for the World’, work will be done rapidly in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Drone Technology, Green Hydrogen, Cyber ​​Security and Med-Tech in the state. In the high level meeting held on Friday, Director of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Manindra Aggarwal gave presentation of various projects.


During this, information was given about promoting innovation in the med-tech sector through Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology, which is set to start from November. Describing the proposed ‘UP Deep-Tech Hub’ in Noida as a center of innovation and industry, the Chief Minister gave instructions to develop world-class facilities here. Also, while emphasizing on self-reliance in drone technology, he talked about making the state a major center for indigenous drone manufacturing and research.


Describing green hydrogen as the future of energy, instructions were given to work rapidly on its production, storage and industrial use. At the same time, it was also considered to establish the country’s first institutional center for clinical validation in the field of Ayurveda. CM Yogi said that better coordination between research and industry will not only promote innovation but will also create employment opportunities on a large scale.
