A high level review meeting regarding the law and order of the state was organized today at the Police Headquarters in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. This important meeting will be chaired by the Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma In which the state’s security system, crime control and modernization of policing were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister gave many important instructions to further strengthen the law and order. On this occasion, giving priority to women’s safety, he flagged off the special vehicles operated under ‘Women’s Safety Helpline-1090’. The objective of these vehicles is to ensure the safety of women across the state and provide quick assistance in emergency situations.

In his address, the Chief Minister clearly said that the state government is working on the policy of ‘zero tolerance’ towards crime. While giving instructions to the officers, he said that any kind of laxity against criminals and mafia will not be tolerated. Instructions have been given to ensure prompt and effective action against organized crime, gangster activities, cyber crime and counterfeit mafias.

He said that establishing rule of law in Rajasthan and ensuring safety of citizens is the top priority of the government. For this, the police department is being equipped with state-of-the-art technology, so that the prevention and investigation process of crimes can be made more effective.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that policing is being made smart and fast with the use of technological resources. A strict vigil is being kept on the criminals by adopting modern technologies like digital surveillance, cyber security mechanisms and data analysis. This will speed up the detection and control of crimes.

In the meeting, senior police officers also gave a detailed presentation on the current law and order situation of the state and informed about various challenges. The Chief Minister directed all the officers to work with mutual coordination and discharge their responsibilities with sensitivity to maintain public trust.
