Materials:



  • Fresh bangla

  • Red chili spice

  • Turmeric

  • salt

  • Kokum

  • salt

  • Ginger garlic paste

  • Curry leaves

  • Coriander

  • Banana leaf

Action:



  • To make banana leaf roasted bangla, first of all, clean the fresh bangla and remove the dirt from the stomach. After that, rinse the bangles three times with water and remove the water completely.

  • After that apply sour kokum syrup on the fresh bangle and keep it for some time. This helps in reducing the fishy smell and makes the fish taste better.

  • In a small bowl add ginger garlic paste, red chillies, turmeric, salt to taste, curry leaves and coriander and mix.

  • Then once again add a little kokum syrup to it and make a proper mixture. Apply the prepared mixture on the bangle and keep it for some time.

  • Cut the banana leaves into pieces and put the bangla in it and pack it properly on all sides.

  • Heat a tawa and add a little oil on it and fry the banana leaf bangles on both sides on low flame.

  • Baked banana leaf bangla made in Konkani style is ready.
