My 600lb Life star Dolly Martinez has sadly died at 30 years old, her family have confirmed. Her heartbroken sister confirmed the tragic news in a devastating post on social media. She wrote on Facebook: "It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beautiful sister, Dolly. Dolly had the brightest personality; she could light up any room with her laughter, her kindness, and her loving spirit.

"She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will stay with us forever. While our hearts are broken here, I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with our dad in heaven. I can only imagine the joy of that reunion. Rest peacefully, Dolly. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never forgotten." Her cause of death is yet to be revealed.

It didn't take long before fans flocked to social media to share their heartache and messages of sympathy and condolences online, with one user gushing: "I'm so sorry for y'all's loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Dolly Fay Richards in Feb 2023 at Great Wolf Lodge.

"We have been friends ever since. She was so nice and loving to us. Always uplifting. If there is anything y'all need, please let me know. Hugs." Another added: "My biggest condolences to your family and everyone involved, she was truly an amazing woman and being her friend was a gift. Love, hugs, and prayers to all!"

A third chimed in with: "I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I had talked to her several times online, and she had friended me on Facebook. She was so very sweet and kind to me. I hope she has found peace and joy with her dad. I am just so sad. I was just so hopeful for her. That show did not do her justice."

The TV star shot to fame when she featured in the 10th series of the popular US reality show, which aired in 2022. Dolly was just 25 when she appeared on the programme, where she candidly revealed her struggles with mental health and food addiction.

At the beginning of the series, she weighed 593 pounds and required extra oxygen and assistance with her daily tasks. She was hoping to qualify for weight loss surgery and had been trying to lose weight during the show. Despite losing an impressive 40 pounds, it wasn't enough weight to qualify for the operation at the time.

The description for her debut on the show read: "25-year-old Dolly relies on food to distract her from 'darker thoughts', especially during her turbulent childhood. But with her food addiction vastly affecting her health, she visits Dr Now for an appointment."
