‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ showed good growth at the box office as it completed its fourth weekend on a high. The film ended its fourth Sunday (Day 25) with an early estimated collection of Rs 14.75 crore net and a gross total haul of Rs 17.68 crore, according to a report on Sacnilk.



The spy-action film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, thus ended its Week 4 run with an estimated Rs 35.25 crore net collection and an estimated gross total of Rs 42.25 crore.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ was, however, unable to beat the fourth weekend record set by ‘Dhurandhar’. While the sequel earned around Rs 35.25 crore, the original film collected a net total of Rs 58 crore in its fourth weekend.

Since its release on March 19, the film has seen a considerable decline in box office collections. The film, which began its run with an impressive Rs 674.17 crore net collection in Week 1, saw a sharp drop in numbers in Weeks 2 and 3.

With this, the film’s current India net collection stands at an estimated Rs 1,083.67 crore. The film’s all-India gross total, on the other hand, has reached an estimated Rs 1,297.48 crore, while its overseas haul is estimated at Rs 415.50 crore.



'Dhurandhar 2' crosses Rs 1,700 crore mark



‘Dhurandhar 2’ has thus scored an estimated worldwide collection of Rs 1,712.98 crore. The film has become the first Bollywood film to reach Rs 1,700 crore worldwide in Phase 1 in a record-breaking 25 days, without a Gulf release.



This achievement places it in a league of its own, especially when compared to recent pan-Indian titans like ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. While those films recorded staggering numbers, they were Telugu-original productions where the Hindi dub served as a secondary revenue stream. In the case of ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the primary Hindi market acted as the central engine, accounting for a massive share of the Rs 1,068.92 crore total India net collection.
