Rajma and rajma-rice have been ranked among the top 100 beans dishes in the world in the list recently released by food rating platform TasteAtlas. This ranking has been prepared on the basis of preferences of thousands of users across the world, which reflects the growing popularity of Indian taste.

In this list, Rajma has been ranked 14th, while Rajma-rice pair has been ranked 25th. The special thing is that this list also includes traditional dishes of countries like Brazil, Portugal, Mexico and Turkey, among which the place of Indian dish is considered very important.

Rajma-rice is a simple but extremely popular dish consisting of red kidney beans cooked in spices and served with rice. In areas like Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Delhi, it is not just the food, but the taste associated with emotions, which reminds people of home and childhood.
